Yes, I noticed that too. Osborne reports that Eliette held Karajan in her arms for hours after he had died, Eliette reports that he died in her arms. I'm not so sure how reliable a source Eliette is to be honest - it all sounded a bit "Mills and Boon" to me! She also states (elsewhere) that Karajan was studying another Mahler symphony, the Resurrection, yet Osborne reports that it was the Eighth; either would have been good !!
