Dear all
Does anyone know whether the digital Brahms is up for re-mastering?

Further to an earlier posting, does anyone out there know if the digital Brahms is scheduled for re-mastering?
Thanks

I doubt that DG remaster their digital recordings, unless if the original is deemed to be in need of repair.
I know that EMI did remaster some digital-era recordings in the late 90's/00's, but I have not seen any digital recordings from DG that were remastered, apart from the Karajan Gold collection.
But if I remember correctly, the digital Brahms set has good sound, no?

Thanks for your reply Paul - and yes, the sound is good anyway.

Hello Dick! Thanks for having recolled that ! We're waiting with anxiety and joy the Testament CDs and then Brahms' Symphony. You know, Dick, at those concerts attended by some Forum members! ******************************** Very Best Wishes Rosy
