Here's something new. Sort of. DG is releasing a 4 DVD set of "Große Sinfonien" under a special label called "Focus Edition": www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0012NO8XOGoogle translates the description in the following typically garbled way: So, 4 DVDs comprising selections from Unitel films of Beethoven, Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Bruckner symphonies. I can't tell from the product description what makes this "Focus Edition" special. No mention of extras, nothing to warrant purchasing this collection if one already has, or plans to have, the separate DVD releases of the aforementioned symphonies. If anyone does hear of anything notable about this "Focus Edition," something that might make it worth a purchase, please post here.

Hello Darkehmen!!! In my opinion, they are things that we have, with small modifications. I don't know the Focus, that has the mark Unitel-DG I don't understand more. There are many versions....The trouble is that we would like to have them all,I's right? I try to know... *****************************************************************************Rosy
