Thank you very much for the review and bringing this release to my attention! This will go to the top of my to-buy list. Your review got me excited about this.

Interesting selexions for excerpts to be sure! Of course it's different to choose for orchestrations than this kind of a compilation, but when i get this most everything i'll hear is entirely new.

Thanks again, for bringing that to my attention, too. Not that much more expensive it seems, rather inexpensive for 2-disc set, though Amazon itself doesn't carry it but has some sellers offering it.

Funny thing about leaving out a couple of things that are on the shorter from the longer one - a good tactic for selling both to many customers, i suppose. However, i'll probably opt for the 2-disc set.

Of course, there could be some perverse pleasure in going through the whole Ring cycle in 78 minutes of one cd!
