There is another "mystery" 1967 concert listed on karajan.org:

12/31 Beethoven 9 appeared to have 5 soloists (including Domingo).

Surely this is a typo? Or a switch of soloists like the K 467?

I checked John Hunt's book Philharmonic Autocrat, Concert Register, and I read this:

Berlin, 31 December 1967/1 January 1968;
Beethoven, Symphony N°9;
Berlin Philharmonic
Deutsche Oper Chorus

... then, I consulted the Official Site, so I noticed the error about the presence of tenor Placido Domingo. I have had the confirmation from the newspaper articles, which never mention the great tenor's performance!!

"Die Neunte" in Karajans Sicht / Zum Jahreswechsel" etc...
