Hello, no, its the logo from Karajan-Institut Salzburg. The quality is importantly better than with MEMORY productions. Unfortunately these CDs do not contain the piano concerts 4 and 5 with Weissenberg.

hello,
now available: Piano Concertos Nos. 3, 5 : Weissenberg(P) Karajan / Berlin Philharmonic (1977 Tokyo) Beethoven, Ludwig van (1770-1827) ( Ludwig van Beethoven ) TFMC0040 Label: Tokyo Fm
In concert register by John Hunt to find the concert 4 and 5, there is something known why the 3rd Piano Concerto was given or is it a bug in the register?

The database on www.karajan.org now lists the concert on 14th November as including Beethoven's 3rd Concerto, not the 4th, so John Hunt's concert register was incorrect. On the 1977 tour of Japan, Karajan did conduct the 4th Piano Concerto in Osaka (10th November). A video of this performance is available and it suprises many Karajan followers as Karajan is clearly using the score (at concerts he almost always conducted from memory). I bought the Tokyo FM recordings of the symphonies earlier this year. Personally I did not think that most of the performances were as good as his commercial recordings, although the first two symphonies were very good.
