Is Herr Lessing's book good? I don't have even the slightest idea what it looks like and I am very curious. The book is basically a collection of photographs taken by the photographer, Erich Lessing, in 1957 showing Karajan at work and play. I found it very interesting and although I was familiar with many of the images it is well presented and as such a nice volume to own. It includes a couple of CDs from the EMI collection including the 1957 Bruckner Symphony No 8 with the B.P.O. but I feel that their inclusion was a bit of an afterthought by the publisher. I have images on the website "Centenary" page but I reproduce them here for you:

This book should be beautiful , especially because the Author is a photographer!!
I hope to find new photos!
