It seems very unlikely. Karajan did not perform with the Berlin Philharmonic until April 1938 and that was his first appearance in Berlin. According to the database on www.karajan.org he never conducted anything by Heuberger and he did not conduct anywhere on 26th June 1933. So the date is wrong, the orchestra is wrong and the composer is wrong. I think it is therefore probably a different conductor. However, occasionally new data is added to the performance database. Until a couple of years ago, I would have told you that Karajan never conducted the Sibelius 2nd Symphony live, then www.karajan.org added the concerts of 24th and 25th February 1962 to their list. So there is a very slight possibility that the Heuberger recording really is Karajan. Has anyone heard the recording? Does it sound like Karajan?

The recodording date is very near and the orchestra/Composer/Title is the same.
