I have collected a number of Video concerts transferred to DVD from I assume TV broadcasts from Japan.
They are as follows.
Brahms Symphonies 3 & 1 Tokyo 30/10/81.
Beethoven Symphonies 1 & 3 Tokyo 28/10/81.
Beethoven Violin Concerto ( Mutter) & 5th Symphony Tokyo 29/10/81.
Beethoven Symphonies 6 & 5 Tokyo 16/11/77.
Beethoven 4th Piano Concerto (Weissenberg) Osaka 9/11/77.
Brahms Symphony No. 1 Osaka 10/11/77.
I know that NHK in Japan recently released 2 DVDs of some old Karajan BPO & VPO Concerts from 1957-59 but it would be great if one day we could have some of the above on good quality DVD.
Does anyone know of any other broadcast TV concerts from Japan or around the world that have not been made available on commercial DVD?
