Our kind leader Linda once posted an entry about "Karajan Film Festival" which will start on Apr.5 in Suntory Hall: www.karajan.co.uk/centenary.htmlToday, I happened to come across an incredible scene. In front of Karajan Platz in Tokyo, a building of which name is "Ark Mori Building" was dressed by famous photos of Karajan. Yes, its walls are painted with an ad for "Karajan Film Festival". Next to "Karajan Platz", there is Suntory Hall. It is spring now, so there are a lot of beautiful cherry blossoms. Mahalo
I am playing the 'live' 1989 Bruckner 7th from Vienna (Karajan's last concert) fantastic!
I looked on the website and there were these brilliant photo's of the maestro from Japan with the spring blossom as well.
Thankyou very much for posting these.

Hi Mahalo! I want to tell you that I've great admiration for the Japanese people: every opporunity is right to pay tribute to Maestro and to demonstrate the love that the Japanese have toward him. *******************************************************************************I'm happy for images you have proposed this morning; they cheered my day! Thanks, Mahalo Rosy

Rosy and John,
Thank you very much for your replies.
I was lucky enough yesterday - the cause was that I went to Suntory Hall. The hall was free of charge then because it held special events. Ordinally, a guest who pays the charge (it is often very expensive) for a concert can go into the hall.
It was also a surprising finding that the ad was on the wall.
A lot of cherry blossoms might lead me.
Thanks,
