Still remaining pleasantely off-topic, I found an interesting article on 20 years without Karajan, titled La meraviglia del mondo della musica, The wonder of the world of music, in which the Author talks, among many things, about the musicals attacks of Karajan. Why were they so particular? In reality there was not an attack because the music flowed as if there had ever been, he just revealed it to us ********************** Rosy

A little more thoughts on John's visitor comments on K 334:
As I have mentioned, I am eager to know why K (or the producer) skips the 5th mvt of this work.
Another interesting thing is that the K 445 march is skipped, too. (But this is common practice). (K also considered abridging Maher 6!) According to Osborne, K did not like K 334.
Also, "From Adam to Webern" may be better titled "Adam to Wolf-Ferrari"!
Regards.
